NZ Knit Co is a wholly New Zealand Owned and operated company and the directors David & Shirley Walker have been manufacturing knitwear in the Auckland (Howick) area for over twenty years. A large part of our business is supplying schools throughout New Zealand with School knitwear and we enjoy a loyal base of customers who we work closely with to ensure that the deliveries are accurate, on time and a consistently high standard of garments.
We have also manufactured numerous ranges of tourist and fashion garments under various labels over the years and have now decided that we can offer a new range of high quality garments at wholesale prices directly to the market.
Dave has developed a fantastic “Ultimate Outdoors” woollen garment. Created out of necessity when he went on a Nepalese Trek and the expedition required a really warm woollen garment. Incorporating Merino and Pure Wool this is an outstanding garment for the Outdoors. From this he has also developed a specialised “Ultimate Golfers” garment made from Merino and Possum/Cotton Blends of yarn, a unique garment, which is unbelievably comfortable to wear. Not to be outdone, Shirley has included some classic Ladies and Men’s styles, which are universally popular using Pure Merino Yarns and Possum/Cotton/Silk blends.
At NZ Knit we aim to produce a really high quality garment using yarns that are of a superior quality, which in turn produce beautiful garments. We have a happy team of skilled people working with us and we all take great pride in our workmanship.
